Tie One On!

There's a neat site called The Tie Bar for really nice-looking, super inexpensive ties.
Check it out, menfolk and tie fans:

I didn't look at any category but "traditional," but I'm sure their other categories feature some good options.

Oooh, oooh, oooh...PLEASE let me beg you gents to TIE YOUR TIES LONG ENOUGH! If your tie does not reach your belt buckle, it ISN'T LONG ENOUGH! And if it only reaches to mid-belly, you're committing tie malpractice! If you never have enough length of tie to do this, you are probably of the long-bodied sort, and you need extra-long ties. They sell such things. (See PB's link.)

Please, guys, don't simply hope your suit/sport jacket will hide your tie gap-osis. Re-tie that thing, as often as it takes, until it extends as long as a tie is supposed to extend in the front.

Other people notice. Trust me.

Thanks PeaceBang. It's TheTieBar here and we're glad you like the ties. We design in-house so it means a lot. Psalmist, we agree with you too. . . as stated in TheTieBar.com's FAQ's "Remember guys, your necktie should always hang one inch below the waist line. Anything else, and your co-workers will talk about you behind your back." Peace, Gina Shugar (President)
