Skirt Lengths
Someone asked just ages ago about skirt lengths for clergy gals.
Not above the knee, dear inquirer.
No matter how young you are or how shapely your gams, not above the knee.
Never above the knee.
Why?
As Mammy says, "It ain't fittin'. It jes' ain't fittin'."

Here is a reason - consider how high you would like the skirt to ride when you are sitting down. Why wear anything that risks showing too much leg/thigh? I know I can't be 100% focused on ministry if I have to make frequent adjustments for the sake of modesty - perceived or real.
OH PEACEBANG LOOK! is a sentiment to drag you kicking and screaming out of your Oct blahs....
Hmm, trying again.
Any idea on clothes for very small women? I'm 5' and somewhere between 105-110. This may not be the appropriate question after the blahs post, but it's really a question. Petites tend to be designed as if you can't possibly be short and under 65 years old. My dear husband keeps telling me that my pants are too big. How do I find good tiny people clothes?? I also get mistaken for a high schooler so any ideas on looking older would also help.
Thanks!
There is at least one exception to this rule: creek baptisms. There can't be anything good about a sodden skirt clinging to one's legs, and a shorter skirt (only slightly above the knees, I assure you) avoids this issue.
Jane Ellen, you sexy baptizer! I love it!
Juniper, very cute! thank you! Petite One, let me see what I can find for you and post on it.
