Photo Angles
Mon chi-chis, don't ever have your photo taken from this angle. Not for the New York Post, not for any reason. If anyone with a camera crouches beneath you like that, you just kick them in the neck with your boot and knock them right down.
And happy 60th birthday this week, Senator.
You've earned every one of those frown lines.

Sorry to be off-topic, but you've got to download the iTunes free song of the week- there till tomorrow. It's about new shoes, and it made me think of you. It's great.
As a woman barely younger than the Senator, I think she looks good even in this photo. No, not the most flattering angle or lighting, but she looks to me intent & commanding. A woman of gravitas. And she has on makeup, eyes, skin, lips and good hair.
I think some photographers must take delight in getting shots like this. It reminds me of the photos I see of Condoleeza Rice and even W himself.
Yanno, Hillary Clinton is proabably #1 on my list of women older then my mother that I find attractive.
Amen. I call it "shooting up" and no good can come of it, even for young folks.
I'm new to Beauty Tips for Ministers. Love it! I'm not a minister yet, but you've inspired me, especially while shopping for my fall/winter wardrobe last week (details about your influence --for good and ill-- can be found under the word "foundation" on the most recent Friday Five entry at Sunday! Sundae! Sunday!. I'll be sending you my credit card in the mail.
